Sandalwood Management is seeking a Porter to support the maintenance and make-ready team at Tapestry Centerpoint in San Marcos, TX. The Porter assists in maintaining interior and exterior grounds, preparing vacant units for move-ins, and delivering high levels of customer service to residents and staff.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to work on-call including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in porter, janitorial, or maintenance roles.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Able to work on-call, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior grounds to company standards.
• Clean and prepare vacant units for move-ins.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Stock and maintain leasing office, clubhouse, and restrooms.
• Inspect property and report hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist in preparing units for new residents (painting, cleaning, repairs).
• Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors for unit/ground prep.

Sandalwood Management is seeking a Porter to support the maintenance and make-ready team with maintaining both interior and exterior grounds of the property and cleaning and preparing vacant units at Tapestry Centerpoint in San Marcos, TX.The Maid/Porter supports the maintenance and make-ready team to help keep property up to Sandalwood standards by tending to the grounds of the property, assisting in preparing apartments and complete resident service requests. This is a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail, hard work and the highest level of customer service.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Maintain both interior and exterior grounds of the property to company standardsClean and prepare vacant units for resident move-insUsing personal protective equipment, preform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, washing windows, cleaning mirrors, scrubbing, vacuuming, cleaning carpets and stainsCleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, sinks and kitchen areaCleaning, stocking and upkeeping the leasing office, property’s clubhouse, public restrooms and other shared areasEmptying trash and recycling receptacles and disposing of waste properlyMaintain community appearance by regularly inspecting and touring the property.
