Job summary

Smart & Final, part of the Chedraui USA group, is hiring a Part-Time Associate at our 745 Long Beach location in California. The role involves stocking, pricing verification, cashier duties, and customer service in a fast-paced grocery warehouse environment.

Starting rate is $18.50 per hour. The position reports to the Store Manager and contributes to daily store operations, including inventory receipt, shelf maintenance, and carry-out services. Casual dress and teamwork are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Read and write English and interact with the public and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels and shelf tags.
• Regularly lift up to 60 pounds and assist customers to vehicles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section as assigned, stock merchandise, set up displays and check pricing.
• Operate a cash register and process payments and refunds as approved.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in store interiors and parking lot as directed.
