Job summary

City of Arvada seeks a part-time Grants Coordinator to research and identify funding opportunities and coordinate grant applications for City programs. You will monitor compliance, budgets and reporting requirements, and provide support to departments and partners.

The role requires strong grant writing and documentation skills, experience with grants management, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a collaborative city environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of grant research and administration.
• Experience with federal, state or local grants.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue federal, state, local, foundation, corporate grant opportunities.
• Assist departments in evaluating eligibility, deadlines and alignment with City priorities.
• Maintain relationships with granting agencies and partners.
• Monitor grant awards for compliance and reporting schedules.
• Prepare narrative, performance, financial and other grant reports.
