Job summary

Blackhawk Technical College seeks qualified instructors to deliver grant writing training through the Workforce and Community Development Division. Training may be stand-alone or in series, on campus or at district sites, and may require collaboration with other Corporate Trainers.

Responsibilities include delivering sessions, adapting provided curriculum, and coordinating with partners. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of grant writing/management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of grant writing and/or grant management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outcome-based training sessions.
  • Use curriculum provided by WCD and customize as needed.
  • Attend meetings to develop customized training for partners.
  • Lead a classroom environment that respects diversity and inclusion.
  • Stay current on teaching trends and use latest technology for diverse learning styles.
  • Report on training delivery and curriculum effectiveness to WCD staff.
  • Demonstrate independence, flexibility, professionalism and strong communication with staff and participants.
