Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking to fill a Grant Writing Instructor Pool to teach courses as needed across various times and locations. Responsibilities include grant research, writing, implementation, curriculum development, and delivering accessible syllabi and assessments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of related experience. This is a non-exempt, part-time, hourly position with a minimum pay of $25.00 per hour and is open until filled.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
• Five (5) years related work experience.
• Basic computer skills to communicate via email, input final student grades into WebDMC, input hours worked and conduct presentations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in grant research, writing and implementation.
• Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students with differing educational backgrounds.
• Evaluate students to measure progress toward course outcomes within college policy.
• Provide students with a written and accessible course syllabus and maintain attendance rosters.
