The Village Family Service Center is seeking a part-time Grant Coordinator in Fargo, ND, to identify and apply for grants meeting organizational needs. The role oversees the full grant process, coordinating with staff and leadership. Flexible hours provide about 20 hours per week at starting pay $25/hour, DOE.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least three years of grant writing, with strong budgeting, reporting, and confidential data handling skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least three years of grant writing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal funding sources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Extremely organized and meticulous with details.
• Ability to interpret financial data and prepare budgets and financial grant reports.
• Ability to be discreet with personal information needed for some grants such as salaries or upcoming projects.

Aufgaben

• Identify and apply for grants that meet the organization's needs.
• Oversee the grant application process from start to finish.
• Coordinate information gathering with administrative managers and Senior Leadership Team.
• Draft and complete grant applications according to requirements.
• Ensure grant submissions are on time and within parameters.
• Maintain grant records and prepare monthly status reports.
• Monitor and evaluate programs funded by grants.
• Maintain master grant files and related paperwork.
