Job summary

Groundworks New Mexico is seeking a grant writer to research funding opportunities, write and submit grant and sponsorship proposals, and maintain relationships with funders. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in grant writing, strong research skills, and the ability to translate mission-driven work into compelling narratives.

This role offers a part-time schedule at 24 hours per week, with in-office hours 9:00–5:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and a comprehensive benefits

Job description

This role is responsible for researching funding opportunities, writing and submitting compelling grant and sponsorship proposals, and maintaining relationships with funders. The ideal candidate has a track record of successful grant writing, excellent research skills, excels at translating mission-driven work into compelling narratives, works well independently, and has a passion for ensuring Native children achieve their full potential.

Other Information/Requirements:

The payrate for this position is $35 per hour with a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, employee assistance plan, and retirement plan with a 3% company match. This position is budgeted for 24 hours per week with an in-office schedule of 9:00 – 5:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
