Job summary

Qualifications

• Be admitted to a graduate degree seeking program at GCU.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 during employment.
• Graduate assistants must be enrolled as regular degree-seeking students for at least 6 graduate units.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual and in-person one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in essay writing and research papers.
• Assist students in applying principles of effective writing, including organization, clarity, grammar, and style.
• Guide on proper citation and referencing techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions.
• Support planning and facilitation for writing support webinars.
• Assist with day-to-day departmental operations and administrative tasks.
• Mentor student workers and collaborate with department leadership on projects.
