Job summary

Makefield Highlands Golf Club is seeking a part-time cook to prepare and serve meals in a fast-paced golf club kitchen. The role requires adherence to food safety practices and the ability to work evenings, weekends and some weekdays.

You will support kitchen staff with daily upkeep, portion control, and inventory management while maintaining clean and organized work areas in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Weekend, nights, and some weekdays availability required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management skills.
• Experience in the food industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food.
• Serve portions at correct temperatures.
• Maintain appearance of kitchen equipment and counters.
• Manage inventory in stock room.
• Clean kitchen area before and after hours.
• Sanitize and store pots, pans, utensils, and dishes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
