Job summary

Girls on the Run Lehigh Valley & Pocono is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to strengthen and expand Girls on the Run programming in Monroe and Pike Counties. The role focuses on building relationships, community engagement, and expanding access to confidence-building programming for girls.

Working closely with the Program Team and Executive Director, theCoordinator will establish a strong local presence in the Pocono region and support sustainable program growth, including site

Qualifications

• Experience in program coordination or youth programs preferred.
• Excellent community outreach and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage volunteer programs and events.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new sites, reconnect with former sites, build relationships with schools and community organizations.
• Recruit and retain volunteer coaches, support coach training and seasonal needs.
• Attend community events to raise awareness and identify funding opportunities for the program.
• Support Monroe County 5K organization and coordinate volunteers.
