Job summary

Total Care Therapy LLC in Avon, IN is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support residents in assisted living and independent living communities. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders, developing individualized plans to improve quality of life.

This role offers competitive hourly pay ($60.00-$70.00) and per-visit compensation based on experience, with weekends optional.

Qualifications

Current Indiana SLP license required.
CCC-SLP certification preferred or eligible.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience in geriatrics, home health, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech therapy plans of care.
Assess and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Perform dysphagia evaluations and implement swallowing interventions.
Reassess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Complete timely documentation in the EMR.
Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on communication strategies and swallowing precautions.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, dietitians and the interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
Maintain a productive clinical caseload delivering evidence-based therapy.
