Total Care Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders in assisted living and independent living communities in Broadview Heights, OH.

You will develop individualized plans to improve residents' quality of life and independence, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and provide compassionate, evidence-based care.

Competenze

• Current State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred or eligibility.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in geriatrics, home health, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech therapy plans of care.
• Assess and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia evaluations and implement swallowing interventions.
• Reassess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete timely documentation using the EMR.
• Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Maintain a productive clinical caseload delivering evidence-based therapy.
