Job summary

Total Care Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive-language, and swallowing disorders in older adults at Findlay, OH. You will develop individualized plans to improve quality of life and independence.

The role offers per-visit compensation and a part-time schedule (Mon-Fri; weekends optional). You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and document care in the EMR, contributing to a therapist-owned, supportive

Qualifications

Current State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
CCC-SLP preferred (or eligibility).
CPR/BLS certification current.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and auto insurance.
Experience in geriatrics, home health, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech therapy plans of care.
Assess and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Perform dysphagia evaluations and swallowing interventions.
Reassess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Complete timely documentation using the EMR.
Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on communication and swallowing precautions.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, dietitians, and the interdisciplinary team.
Maintain a productive clinical caseload while delivering evidence-based therapy.
