Job summary

Theracare is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to join a dedicated therapy team in Indiana. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient sites, long-term care facilities, or home health care.

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is required; one year of rehabilitation experience is preferred, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.
• Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods and equipment used in speech-language pathology.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders using therapy techniques to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing abilities.
• Work as part of a therapy team with support and information in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Provide therapy services in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.
