Qualifications

• JD preferred.
• 10+ years of legal, compliance, or executive leadership experience.
• Experience within highly regulated industries required.
• Strong background in corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making and business strategy.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise executive leadership on strategic, operational, regulatory, and governance matters.
• Review, negotiate, and oversee commercial contracts and business agreements.
• Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, financial, and operational risks.
• Partner with leadership on growth initiatives, licensing matters, and corporate development opportunities.
• Support board governance, corporate compliance, and enterprise-wide policy development.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel, regulators, lenders, and key stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on employment, compliance, and organizational best practices.
