Job summary

The Specialty Alliance is inviting a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Austin Gastro, TX on a part-time basis. You will provide outpatient services under physician supervision, seeing new and follow-up patients without inpatient duties or call responsibilities.

Based in Austin, you’ll work 8am–5pm on mutually agreed days, with locations at Hero Way and Wyoming Springs, and become dedicated to a single physician while supporting credentialing and ongoing education

Qualifications

• State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
• Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
• Comfortable working in a busy and thriving practice
• Gastrointestinal experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician
• See both new patients and follow-up patients, approximately 12 per full clinic day
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease
• Participate in credentialing and continuing education requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
