GI Alliance, supporting San Antonio Gastroenterology Associates (SAGA), seeks a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in San Antonio, TX. Outpatient-only, no call, about 20 patients per day, schedule negotiable.

You’ll work under a physician in a clinic setting, performing histories and physicals, ordering labs, and counseling patients and families. The role emphasizes credentialing, ongoing education, and consistent clinic coverage for one physician in a private-practice

Qualifications

• TX State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• GI experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in a clinic setting.
• Complete patient histories and physicals.
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests.
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease.
• Outpatient only; no call; no inpatient.
• Average 20 patients per day.
• Dedicated to one physician.
