Job summary

The Specialty Alliance seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our GI group in Cedar Park, Texas. This outpatient position provides scheduled patient services under direct physician supervision, with clinical duties including histories, exams, labs, and patient counseling.

The role primarily operates at the Cedar Park site with one satellite clinic day in North Austin. No inpatient duties, no on-call, and no rounding.

Qualifications

• State-licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in good standing.
• Outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Strong patient communication and care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under physician supervision in an outpatient setting.
• See patients primarily at Cedar Park location; one satellite clinic day weekly in North Austin.
• Complete patient histories and physicals; order appropriate labs as needed.
• Counsel patients and families on health and disease; maintain credentialing requirements.
