Job summary

Qualifications

Art handling and installation skills, safe lifting and packing of artworks.
Gallery operations and customer service support.
Administrative and organizational tasks, basic computer literacy and record-keeping.
Able to work with staff, artists and the public in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and answer questions about exhibitions and events.
Assist with safe handling, installation, and de-installation of artworks.
Prepare galleries for shows and maintain clean, orderly spaces and storage areas.
Process sales and manage visitor sign-in, phone and email inquiries.
Coordinate classes, workshops and events with staff and artists.
