Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to use a computer and type.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and willingness to learn other software is required.
• Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and pull/push 200 lbs or more of removals if required.
• Able to pass a Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with removals of decedents (varies by location).
• Assist with preparing, dressing, and placing decedents into casket.
• Prepare for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos, and other keepsakes; ensure proper care and storage of all items.
• Prepare documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance, as directed by management.
• Perform office duties such as answering phones and operating equipment.
• Run errands such as floral deliveries and document drop-offs.
• Serve as an usher and assist with parking and transportation requirements.
