Qualifications

• Experience in planning and coordinating special events, preferably nonprofit fundraising.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with adaptability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey the mission to donors.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with donor management software and databases.
• Physical ability to lift and transport 50 lb boxes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate special events such as peer-to-peer fundraisers, trivia, and golf events.
• Acquire financial sponsorships and recruit individual participants.
• Cultivate relationships and obtain funding from donors and partners.
• Manage event logistics and coordinate between coordinators and venue staff.
• Develop budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure revenue goals are met.
• Support board committees to increase participation.
• Manage and maintain the fundraising platform and communications.
• Draft and implement marketing plans and event communications.
• Conduct post-event evaluation and provide improvement recommendations.
• Build and steward relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers and partners.
• Coordinate Community Impact Advisory Board recruitment and event prep.
