Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the checkout area.
• Process cash, credit, debit transactions accurately.
• Balance the register at the start and end of each shift.
• Scan items, apply coupons and promotions according to store policies.
• Bag groceries efficiently and assist with loading.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and restock supplies.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
