Job summary

The Health Center at Standifer Place in Chattanooga, TN seeks a part-time receptionist to act as the first point of contact, greeting visitors and handling calls with courtesy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include assisting visitors, managing messages, processing payments, assembling packets, and supporting daily operations. The schedule is 20 hours weekly, Mon 3p-8p and weekends 9a-4p, with holidays open.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Pleasant and helpful personality both in person and via the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors.
• Answer telephone in a pleasant clear voice, screen or transfer calls, and take messages.
• Receipt funds into health center and patient trust accounts.
• Order and receive payment for guest meal trays.
• Sort and open mail upon supervisor’s request.
• Assemble admission packets.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Assuring Resident Safety Schedule: 20 hours per week, Mon 3p-8p, Sat-Sun 9a-4p.
