Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Front Desk Visitor Verification in Gaithersburg, MD. You will greet visitors, verify IDs, manage access, and provide customer service at a government location using our security systems.

This role offers flexible scheduling with the Claim a Shift platform and requires at least 2 years in security, a valid guard card/license preferred, and proficiency with computers or tablets. Minimum 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk at a government location, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Monitor access to the facility, direct visitors to offices, and report access concerns.
• Answer calls, provide information, and coordinate visitor arrivals, deliveries, and service personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting and escalation procedures.
