Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer, Front Desk Identity Verification in Atlanta, GA. You will greet visitors, verify credentials, monitor access, and respond to security concerns at a financial institution site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher education credentials as applicable.
• DD214 with Honorable Discharge or Police/Corrections Academy certificates are preferred.
• Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law; drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk in a financial institution.
• Greet visitors, verify identification, issue visitor credentials, and maintain records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and security systems; escalate as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; coordinate with site contacts or emergency responders.
• Assist with inbound calls, deliveries, lost-and-found, and reception duties while deterring unauthorized access.
