Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Front Desk Enhanced for Harrisonburg, VA to provide customer service and front-desk support at a government site. The role offers fixed shifts with a six-month commitment and the option to pick up additional shifts via our platform to boost earnings.

Pay is $18.00 per hour, with the schedule on DayTime Fri08:00 AM - 05:00 PM. This part-time role aims to offer income stability while potentially advancing toward a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government front desk following site procedures.
• Greet and direct visitors, verify appointments and IDs, issue visitor credentials, maintain logs.
• Monitor facility entrance access, observe front-desk activity, report unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly in line with emergency procedures.
• Answer phones and provide information while protecting confidential records.
