Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Services in Charleston, SC. This role emphasizes reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to boost earnings. Pay rate is $21.94 per hour, with a schedule that includes daytime hours and anchor shifts across multiple sites.

You will greet visitors, verify credentials, manage logs, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment. A background check and drug screen are required by law where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a financial institution by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing guests according to site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and issuing temporary access credentials as authorized.
• Observe front lobby activity and report unusual activity, policy concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, following established procedures.
• Support a professional and welcoming environment through clear communication with employees, visitors, and leadership.
