Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Front Desk Security Officer (Part-Time) for a technology-focused office on Daniel Island, SC. You will provide a welcoming, professional front-desk presence and manage access for employees, visitors, vendors, and guests, using tablets to maintain accurate visitor records.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience, an ability to follow site procedures, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, professional front-desk presence for employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a technology-focused office location.
• Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, verifying visitor access requirements, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, receive and direct deliveries, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and escalation protocols.
• Support security-related administrative duties, including answering phones, managing inquiries, documenting incidents, and communicating clearly with employees and visitors.
