Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Charleston, SC. The role offers flexible, anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and opportunities to pick up extra shifts to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with a fixed schedule on Mondays and Wednesdays and potential for more shifts through the Earn More program. This position emphasizes customer service at a financial institution and adherence to security procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check, drug screen, and licensing may be required by state laws.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity per site procedures, reporting suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Complete accurate incident reports and logs while maintaining a professional presence.
