Job summary

Allied Universal in Los Angeles is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Security Officer to provide a welcoming, professional presence at a technology data center. You will manage access, verify IDs, greet visitors, and support security operations, ensuring a secure environment with clear communication.

The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to earn additional shifts through our Claim a Shift platform. Training and growth opportunities are provided within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Qualified applications with criminal histories will be considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at a front desk within a data center location.
• Welcome visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify IDs and issue access credentials.
• Monitor access activity, visitor logs, and security systems; report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following emergency protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with site contacts and leadership.
