AdviniaCare Oakland Grove seeks a friendly receptionist to greet residents, families, and visitors and provide essential administrative support. This part-time role (16 hours/week) offers day and evening shifts in a warm, resident-centered environment.

You will handle calls, direct people, perform typing tasks, and help maintain privacy and safety standards while supporting a welcoming facility atmosphere for seniors and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Typing speed of 50 words per minute.
• Ability to make independent decisions and stay calm in emergencies.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Knowledge of administrative practices and guidelines.
• Cheerful personality and ability to work harmoniously with others.
• Willingness to adopt new methods and adapt existing practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate telephone with proper etiquette.
• Receive and direct all visitors to appropriate areas.
• Perform general typing and secretarial tasks.
• Distribute paychecks per policy.
• Handle incoming mail and deliveries.
• Demonstrate correct safety techniques.
• Protect residents' health information per Privacy Practice.
• Maintain and use office equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
