Job summary

Movement in New York is seeking Front Desk Opener/Closer team members who are the face of our gym, delivering a welcoming, knowledgeable service to members and guests and inviting them into our climbing, yoga and fitness community. You will conduct gym tours, check-ins, assist with retail, and lead introductory climbing classes (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to members and guests
• Be a guide with a welcoming, knowledgeable presence
• Invite members into the community and guide to products and programs
• Speak knowledgably about amenities, member benefits and perks
• Conduct gym tours and personalized guided experiences
• Educate about memberships and promotions
• Check people in and conduct transactions
• Assist with retail products and sales
• Deliver belay checks, floor walks, monitor gym, address concerns
• Perform facility upkeep, projects and cleaning tasks
• Instruct introductory classes
