Maria Joseph Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a friendly, professional Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, and helps create a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who enters our facility.

The Receptionist provides administrative and clerical support by managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, assisting residents and families, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous receptionist, office, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Long-term care experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and direct visitors, residents, and family members.
• Answer and route incoming telephone calls.
• Assist with facility communications and overhead paging.
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
• Maintain resident census and contact information.
• Enforce facility visitation procedures.
• Provide clerical and administrative support as assigned.
• Handle situations calmly and professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.
