Job summary

Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown Roanoke is seeking a detailed, outgoing guest service professional for a part-time Guest Services Representative role. You will showcase organizational skills, create exceptional guest experiences, and enjoy a friendly work environment with competitive pay and benefits.

As a Guest Service Representative, you will check guests in and out, respond to requests with urgency and empathy, process payments, and update reservations.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of customer service experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to cultivate a productive team that embodies PEACH.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where priorities are constantly changing.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service while checking guests in and out.
• Be a guest advocate by responding to requests and concerns with urgency and empathy.
• Process payments for guests and update accounts as needed.
• Enter and update reservation information in the system.
• Collaborate with departments to communicate room availability and status.
• Maintain the front desk area to be clean, welcoming, and organized.
• Close and balance room accounts.
• Run, print, and distribute various reports.
• Make adjustments to accounts as needed.
• Weekends required with 1-2 weekdays; shift: 2pm-10pm
