Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a friendly Office Assistant for our Royal Oak arena. You’ll greet guests, check in program participants, operate the POS, answer phones, and help keep the lobby tidy and welcoming while supporting day-to-day operations.

This part-time role favors people who enjoy working with families and athletes, can multitask during busy periods, and are comfortable using computers. Evening and weekend availability is required; prior cash handling appreciated, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing, dependable and ready to help.
• Enjoys working with people of all ages; able to multitask.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; basic cash handling.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a welcoming experience.
• Check in participants for skating programs and events.
• Use POS for admissions, skate rentals, registrations, and other transactions.
• Answer phones and assist customers with schedules, pricing and events.
• Assist guests with skate rentals, sizing, distribution and returns.
• Keep lobby and front desk clean and organized.
• Communicate with arena staff to help programs run smoothly.
• Complete attendance logs, waivers, and incident reports.
• Support enforce facility policies in a friendly, professional way.
• Pitch in during tournaments, events and seasonal programs.
