Mercyhealth in Wisconsin is hiring a cook for a 20-hour-per-week schedule. You will prepare meals from scratch, follow standardized recipes, and ensure proper temperatures and sanitation while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience as a cook or two years in food service preferred.
• Graduate of vocational school, or culinary program preferred.
• State Food Safety Sanitation Certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Determines food items and prepares them for service.
• Reads and follows standardized recipes.
• Cooks to order and prepares food in quantities according to menu.
• Maintains proper food temperature log sheets and sanitation standards.
• Performs dishwashing as necessary and keeps a clean work area.
