Mercyhealth is seeking a part-time cook to prepare high-quality meals in our kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain safety standards, and ensure proper temperatures while delivering excellent customer service.
The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and 1 year of cooking or 2 years in food service; state food safety certification within 90 days is expected. 20 hours weekly with competitive pay and benefits.
Prepares and cooks high-quality, appealing meals from scratch by following standardized recipes, menus, and dietary requirements while using a variety of cooking techniques. Ensures proper food temperatures, portioning, sanitation, and safety standards while maintaining a clean kitchen and providing excellent customer service.
