Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years experience as a Food Service Worker.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Teamwork, interpersonal, written, and organizational skills, PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs dishwashing/cleaning operations and performs and/or delegates tasks such as tray stripping and washing.
• Directs and monitors workflow to and from dishwasher to maintain an even flow of dishes and staff.
• Directs and monitors workflow of unit dining areas and operations and delegates tasks such as tray assembly and serving.
• Schedules all dietary aides and cafeteria servers.
• Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
• Maintains department records, reports and files as required.
• Assigns personnel to stations, orients, trains and evaluates performance.
• Attends meetings and participates in in-service programs.
