Job summary

Circle K in Harbor City, CA is seeking a part-time Foodservice Trainer to ensure in-store food execution, rotation, and customer service excellence. You will train staff, lead tastings, and uphold food safety standards throughout the store.

As the go-to person for food products and services, you will implement planograms, monitor inventory, and collaborate with BUQAS training personnel to deliver effective training programs for store employees and operations teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe and NRFSP certifications preferred.
• Experience in retail grocery/foodservice training or supervision.
• Strong English communication skills; French beneficial in Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Food category expert in store and ensures execution to maximize sales and reduce waste.
• Train, coach and mentor associates on food execution, replenishment, ordering, organization and customer service.
• Lead in-store training on new Foodservice programs and conduct refresher sessions as needed.
• Plan and conduct food sampling for staff and customers; ensure adherence to planograms.
• Maintain FIFO and ensure fresh food rotation; monitor and reduce shrink.
• Coordinate with BUQAS trainers to deliver in-store foodservice training programs.
