Good Samaritan in Luverne, MN is seeking a Part-Time Evening Food Service Assistant to support dining operations. 24 hours per week, with every other weekend, 7am to 3pm shift.

The role involves monitoring temperatures, serving food, restocking, handling payments on a computerized register, and maintaining HACCP compliance. Applicants should be 16+, have customer service experience, math skills, and good reading/writing abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years of age.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Serv Safe may be required depending on location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending on location requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record proper temperature of food and maintain a clean serving area.
• Prepare and serve food items and restock food areas.
• Receive payment for food and beverages using a computerized register.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain equipment and assist with cleaning and sanitation tasks.
