Good Samaritan Society in Luverne, MN is seeking a Part Time Evening Food Service Assistant to join our not-for-profit team. The role focuses on safe food handling, serving items, restocking, and operating basic cash registers.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 and ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Retail counting and reconciliation of money experience is helpful.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Basic Life Support may be required depending on location requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record proper food temperatures and HACCP guidelines.
• Set up and maintain a clean, sanitized serving area.
• Prepare and serve food items and restock areas.
• Operate cash registers and take payments for food/beverages.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with patrons and co-workers.
