Good Samaritan in Luverne, MN is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant to join our not-for-profit organization that serves seniors with a commitment to quality care in a Christian environment.

You will monitor food temperatures, set up and sanitize serving areas, prepare and serve items, restock stations, operate the cash register, and uphold HACCP guidelines while delivering outstanding customer service to residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16; customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions; basic math skills.
• On-the-job training provided; Serv Safe may be required within time frame.
• BLS may be required depending on location requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record proper food temperatures.
• Set up and maintain a clean, sanitized serving area.
• Prepare and serve food items; restock food areas.
• Clean and sanitize equipment; operate equipment as needed.
• Receive payment using a computerized register; provide customer service.
• Comply with HACCP guidelines and maintain quality standards.
