Good Samaritan Luverne is seeking a Part Time Evening Food Service Assistant to join our not-for-profit team. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain a clean serving area, and ensure food safety guidelines are followed.

This role offers 24 hours per week, evenings from 4pm to 8pm, with compensation around $19.09 per hour. Previous customer service experience and basic math are valued as you assist residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16
• Previous customer service experience
• Able to read, write and follow directions
• Basic math skills
• On-the-job training provided

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record proper food temperatures
• Set up and maintain a clean, sanitized serving area
• Prepare and serve food items
• Restock food areas
• Clean and sanitize equipment
• Process payments using a computerized register
• Follow HACCP guidelines and ensure food safety
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patrons and coworkers
• Maintain working relationships and professionalism
