Job summary

Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician at Primark MOA, in Bloomington, MN. You will operate floor care equipment to maintain hard floors and carpets in a high-traffic retail setting, with training provided and a path to direct-hire.

The role offers an early morning schedule, roughly 24 hours per week, and a chance to grow within a supportive team. Prior floor care experience is helpful but not required; 18+ and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull floor care equipment.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment.
• Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing.
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas.
• Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and cleaning standards.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently.
