Job summary

Carlson Building Maintenance in Plymouth, MN is hiring a Floor Care Technician to maintain floors and carpets in a large retail environment. You will learn professional floor care techniques and operate specialized cleaning equipment.

We provide on-the-job training, promote a stable full-time schedule, and offer weekly pay. Must be 18+, able to lift 45 pounds, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull cleaning equipment.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Previous cleaning, custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or floor care experience is helpful but not required.
• Training Provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment.
• Clean and maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, and routine maintenance.
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas.
• Perform restroom and general cleaning duties as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently.
