Job summary

Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Burnsville, MN. You will operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and maintain hard floors and carpets in a large retail environment.

No floor care experience required; training provided. Shift is 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM, about 40 hours weekly, with weekly pay on Friday. Candidates must be at least 18 and able to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull cleaning equipment.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment.
• Clean and maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, and routine maintenance.
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas.
• Perform restroom and general cleaning duties as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and cleaning standards.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs.
