Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Part Time Float Pharmacy Technician to support its mental health pharmacy network. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under the supervision of a pharmacist, with primary duties at the Portage site and coverage at nearby sites within a 30-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license.
• Ability to travel to other sites using own vehicle.
• Reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assists pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
