Med-Trans, a leader in air medical care, is hiring a Part-Time Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation experts. You will transport patients to medical facilities and handle scene call work while upholding high safety standards for crew and patients.

The role requires 911/critical care experience, EMT-P licensure, and multiple certifications. You will work within a professional team, participate in pre-mission life support, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance.

Formación

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within required timeframe.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handover.
• Stay current on knowledge and psychomotor skills through ongoing training.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures records.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies for emergency programs.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in pre-mission briefings/debriefings.
