Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Part-Time Flight Paramedic to join a team of air transportation experts delivering high-quality patient care. The role requires active EMS/critical care experience, a current EMT-P license, and competences in ALS during pre-hospital and intra-hospital transport.

You will participate in pre-mission liftoff checklists, support radio/navigation duties as needed, and maintain required certifications while adhering to safety standards on every flight.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years in a 911 or critical care setting as a paramedic.
• Current EMT-P license in states served by the area.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) within 24 months from hire date.
• Instructor certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS are preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each flight.
• Conduct daily base checks including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact through handoff.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education and safety documentation.
• Operate and maintain flight equipment and supplies.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings.
