Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation located in St. David, AZ, seeks a Part-Time Flight Paramedic to join our air transportation team. You will transport patients to and from facilities and perform scene call work, with safety and high-quality patient care as priorities.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ EMS/critical care experience, EMT-P licensure, and FP-C within 24 months. We offer a $2,500 annual area stipend and company-paid crew housing while on shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in 911 or critical care as a paramedic.
• Flight paramedic credentials are preferred; FP-C within 24 months is required.
• Instructors’ certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each flight on time.
• Perform daily base checks including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency via ongoing training and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures in records.
• Use equipment properly and maintain readiness for all EMS operations.
• Maintain professional relationships with EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Fulfill flight crew role and participate in pre/post mission briefings.
